Desert War 1940-1942 - The Ram Stands at Bir el Gubi

In my preview of the upcoming war game Desert War 1940-1942, I introduced you to its basic design and interface. The scenario itself is quite enjoyable and I felt like it deserved some closure. This blog post is the AAR of the battle from where I left it at the video.

DCS Harrier Mavericks and TGP

Have you seen those guys going in and hitting all their targets with Maverick missiles in just one pass? Not me, that's for sure.

For starters, I am a bit too fond of the targeting pod (TPOD) to acquire targets. After un-caging the Mavericks and selecting them (sensor select forward in the stick) the TPOD turns down.

In this video (make sure to see it in YouTube for better resolution) I start the Mavericks first and then I use the TPOD. It works like a charm.
